About me
Hi, I’m Elise! I’m a Senior Product Designer living in San Francisco.
With a Bachelor's degree in Business (Entrepreneurship), I bring a unique perspective to product design, combining creativity with a deep understanding of user needs & business strategy.
I find design to be a wonderfully fun profession where creativity meets functionality. I love creating designs that not only solve user problems but also delight users.
Outside of work, I spend most of my free time hanging out with my dog, John, training for my first triathlon, or trekking across National Parks (13 out of 63 so far). I also have a strong competitive side and love playing games like Pictionary, Catch Phrase, and Spikeball.
My Strengths
Embracing Ambiguity
I greet ambiguous problems with arms wide open and love to break them down, explore possibilities, and craft thoughtful, user-centered solutions that drive meaningful impact.
The Art & Logic of Design
I love design because it seamlessly blends creativity and logic. I enjoy using creativity to generate innovative ideas and applying logical thinking to craft clear, well-defined workflows.
Design System Enthusiast
I am a total Design System nerd, and I use that nerdiness to create a consistent user experience that is intuitive, scalable, and efficient for both users and development teams.
My Design Principles
1
Design with consistency & predictability
Design Systems are the foundation of a seamless user experience.
2
Stay curious, ask “why?”
Always make sure you’re getting to the root of the problem.
3
Prioritize fast learning
Identify the least amount of work needed to learn the next most important thing.
